About 200 thousand compulsory medical insurance policies have been issued to residents of the Kherson region since March 1, 2023. Anna Litvinenko, director of the regional compulsory health insurance fund, spoke about this. The document can be obtained at a medical institution and a branch of the MFC.
“We started issuing policies on March 1, 2023, and to date we have provided 193 thousand people with policies. These are adults and children. We continue this work,” Anna Litvinenko said in a conversation with TASS.
Compulsory medical insurance policies started issuing residents of new regions of Russia from mid-February. Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said that residents of the annexed territories must receive policies by the end of 2023 in order to fully enter the Russian health insurance system from the beginning of 2024.
