The official asked residents to be vigilant, not to walk at night and immediately report this to emergency services when they meet an animal.
In turn, local residents in social networks are actively discussing measures to prevent tiger attacks: “We need to hide the dogs so that he has nothing to profit from here, and he left.”
Experts confirm that Amur tigers go to human dwellings because of hunger, when their usual food becomes less available. In particular, zoologists have already pointed to a decline in the wild boar population, which was the result of deforestation and hunting.
