Residents of the Moscow region city of Khimki complained about the heating being turned off
In the town of Khimki near Moscow, a district thermal station on Nagornoye Highway broke down. Because of this, dozens of houses were cut off from heat, writes Baza.
Heating and hot water were turned off on Parkovaya, Druzhba, 9 May, Stroiteley, Molodezhnaya streets and many others. There is no heating or hot water, including in the clinic, several schools and shopping centers.
The reason for the shutdown was said to be pipe wear.
At the same time, local residents also complain about power outages. One resident told reporters that her 15-year-old daughter spent several hours in an elevator that was stuck due to a blackout.
As of the time of publication, TSK Mosenergo reported that they had completed restoration work and promised to restore heat supply soon.
