Residents of Cheboksary will receive an updated stadium “Volga” with a swimming pool and an ice palace

The reconstruction of the Volga stadium in the capital of Chuvashia turned into the creation of a sports and recreation complex with a swimming pool, an ice palace and a full-size football field.

FOK will be an innovation in the approach to sports, a cluster approach to physical culture will allow you to practice several sports at once. After training on the football field or skating rink, you can go to the pool. There are plans to involve about 70% of the population of the republic in a healthy lifestyle. A modern social approach to sports will help the residents of Chuvashia to spend their leisure time with benefit and interest.

The old stadium “Volga” in the south-west of Cheboksary will turn into a real sports complex for practicing various sports. The walls of the future complex have already been erected, and now work is underway on internal equipment: floor screed, waterproofing, communications and ventilation. The pool in the main building is already glazed and is almost ready to receive the first athletes.

Heating to the FOK has already been carried out, it works properly. An ice palace is being built next to the stadium, where residents of the Republic of Chuvashia will be able to skate all year round. The construction of a full-sized football field is also in full swing, with the foundations of the lighting towers in place.
