Warm weather with temperatures up to +25 will return to the regions of Central Russia in the second half of next week. Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation, told RIA Novosti about this.
According to him, by the end of the week the temperature deviation from normal will be 5-6 degrees. This weather is more typical in the third ten days of August. It will be approximately three degrees warmer than the long-term average in the north of the European part of Russia.
Leading specialist at the Phobos center, Mikhail Leus, said that at the beginning of the week the weather on the Russian Plain will be spoiled by the frontal section, but it will have a small effect on the temperature. And the beginning of the “second series” of Indian summer in the second half of the week will be possible due to the influence of the anticyclone.
According to Mikhail Leus, there is hope that the new wave of Indian summer will become more protracted. For now, according to meteorological models, it may linger in the region until the middle of the third decade of September.
