Residents of Anapa complained about naked tourists: wet, smelly, with their belly out

In Abkhazia, from August 1, a ban was introduced for being in public places in swimsuits or in the nude. The fine will be up to 6000 rubles. This initiative has been welcomed by the residents of Anapa, who are calling on local authorities to consider the same law. We listened to the complaints of the townspeople and talked about the beginning of the holiday season.

“The cry of the soul, eyes and nerves! I understand that we live in a resort, but why do pot-bellied men and women (not pregnant) walk naked through the streets, and not just on the beach? If I walk like this in Penza, is this the norm? I don’t want to sit on a bench, drink coffee, and watch these thick-bodied whales swim past, maneuvering in the stream with pedestrians. An abomination, ”such a post appeared in Anapa’s public.

The author of the post is a local resident Alexander. We phoned the man. He explained his position: “I am outraged that outside the beach people go almost naked: in swimsuits and shorts. Naked people get into the minibus, they fall into the sand. It is unpleasant to stand in public transport with a person from whom either water or sweat is pouring. Moreover, buses are usually packed to capacity, you rub against a wet and smelly person. On the embankment and in the city there are women in bathing suits, and men in swimming trunks with bellies outside. I have not seen this in other cities. Some locals do not agree with me, they say people bring us money, let them wear what they want. But in my understanding, this is unacceptable.”

Most of the people of Anapa supported Alexander. At the same time, they told how things are at the resort.

– We went to the Novomikhailovka resort near Tuapse. Village village. But as soon as we left the beach in swimsuits, the police approached us and asked us to get dressed. And in Anapa, the police don’t care, ”says Yulia. – Locals never wear swimsuits outside the beach area. And tourists walk around the center in this form, they get into minibuses with wet asses.

As for the prices at the resort. In June, you can still find rooms with private facilities for two from 1000 rubles per day. Since July, the cost of apartments starts from 1500 rubles. But it will be housing 20 minutes from the sea, without food. Near the sea, the price tag rises to 3500 per day. For August, prices are even higher, and all places are almost booked.

Another resident of Anapa, Anna, also believes that it is time to introduce fines for inappropriate appearance: “It seems that, apart from fines, nothing else affects people. Tourists forget that people who work and study live here. Why in Moscow no one walks around the city in shorts and bras? And here people believe that in this form you can go to a cafe, and to a store, and walk around the city. In Dubai or somewhere else, our compatriots observe the rules of decency. And at home you can sneeze at everyone.

The interlocutor described the situation at the resort.

– Prices for food always rise by 13% during the season, Anna continues. – Tourists are starting to arrive. Renting has skyrocketed. And it’s sad. Many apartments are not worth it. Do you think a room with two beds and a shower can cost 2000 per night?

During the season, there are so many people in the city that it is just right to stand on one leg. There is nowhere to throw garbage around. Some beaches have been paid. Sunbeds for 400 rubles. And it would be nice if the service was of a decent level. So no. We have wars going on here for a place under the sun.

Locals rarely go to the sea, and even more so to city beaches. If they get out, they go to the Utrish nature reserve or to Sukko, where pebble beaches and water do not bloom.

Nonna has been resting in Anapa since the end of May. The tourist described her impressions: “In Anapa, now you can still find a bed in guest houses from 400 rubles per day. Without special amenities, but on a budget, – says Nonna. – The closer to the sea, the more expensive the housing. In June, more or less normal apartments cost from 1,500 rubles per day. In August, prices start at 2500. There are a lot of housing for every taste and budget. At the bus station there are women with signs “for rent housing.” You can also reserve apartments on Internet sites, but they charge 15% for the reservation. Local taxi drivers have raised prices, for 5 km they ask for 500 rubles. Fruit prices are cheaper than in Moscow. Strawberries – from 150 to 350 rubles. Cherries and apricots from 250 rubles.

Anapa resident Daria described the problems tourists might face: “Traveling to us is somewhat difficult. Trains until August 28 are almost all booked. You can fly to Sochi, but from there it is extremely difficult to dock with the Lastochka. It remains to be hoped for intercity buses, but problems with the purchase of tickets are not ruled out. And a taxi will be very expensive.

A resident of Anapa, Ksenia, compared the resorts in her city with Sochi: “A few weeks ago we drove from Anapa to Sochi. We left by bus at 9.30 am, we got to the place only at 19 pm. Pleasure is doubtful. The bus was full, the air conditioners did not work, they were simply plugged with sponges. Tickets for it – 1300 rubles for an adult and 650 for a child.

Prices in Sochi are many times higher relative to Anapa. In June, a double room averages 4000-5000 rubles. To eat in a cafe – at least 1500-2500 rubles. A bottle of water 0.5 liters in the region of 100 rubles. In Anapa at 1800 you can have a good meal in a cafe for three. But only a desperate tourist will dare to get to us.
