Repair base for armored vehicles to be opened in Kyrgyzstan with the support of Russia

A base intended for the repair of military equipment will be opened in the Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan with the support of Russia. The opening ceremony is scheduled for October 10 this year. The Russian side provided equipment worth $3.2 million for this base, as well as spare parts for infantry fighting vehicles worth $20 million.
The Minister of Defense of Kyrgyzstan, Baktybek Bekbolotov, explained that he had talked with his Russian counterpart Sergei Shoigu about the creation of such a repair base in the city of Balykchy.
Recall, on September 13, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov took part in the opening of the first Bayraktar Turkish drone base in the republic.
