The White House announced the great military potential of Russia

Russia has a powerful army, which, if necessary, can be used not only in Ukraine. This statement was made during a briefing by the coordinator for strategic communications at the White House National Security Council, John Kirby.
“Available [президента РФ Владимира] Putin still has an extremely large military potential that can be used not only in Ukraine, but potentially elsewhere, ”Kirby said (quote according to TASS).
He added that Moscow has faced “many problems” but still has a huge army that is “capable of doing a lot of damage.” The White House spokesman also recalled that the Pentagon recognized Russia as an “acute threat” in the new national defense strategy. According to him, this is a very precise wording.
In March 2022, the United States presented a new national security strategy, in which they announced threats to Russia and China. The document noted that Washington will continue to cooperate “with NATO allies and partners” to deter “Russian aggression.”
In addition, a new NATO strategic concept was presented at the end of June. Russia in it characterized as “the main security threat” and demanded that Moscow immediately stop the special operation in Ukraine. Belarus was called upon to “stop complicity” in hostilities. NATO members also agreed that they would continue to oppose Russia’s “irresponsible rhetoric” and “hostile actions.”
