Renting a cottage for graduation will cost the cost of the car

This year, graduations are scheduled for June 23-24 (not to be confused with the last calls). We look ads. For example, renting a cottage with an area of ​​100 square meters in a country club between Balashikha and Staraya Kupavna (a little over 30 kilometers from Moscow) will cost 90 thousand rubles for two days – and there are free places on the weekend following the prom. It offers a sauna, swimming pool and other countryside entertainment. 15-20 people can crowd into a cottage.

The most expensive option in the Moscow region, although far from the Moscow Ring Road, is near Chekhov (54 kilometers from the Moscow Ring Road, 74 km from the Kursk railway station) – 144 thousand rubles for two nights. For this money, the owners offer a chalet with an area of ​​240 meters, and even with breakfast. The house is chic, but bad luck – it is rented to those who are over 18.

…Last year’s Moscow graduate Timofey Evdokimov shared his experience with MK. For the holiday, they rented a country house on the Sheremetyevsky highway with the class, and everything went well.

— We wanted to be able to celebrate a day, and we thought that it could be cheaper and more interesting. Better than a restaurant or some attic – as they say in the common people, a loft. I was the one who was looking for the cottage. Looked for options, called and compared prices. Unfortunately, the coolest options for reasonable money were taken. We realized it and started looking a month before the holiday. The house I found, where the price was right for everyone, was the only convenient option for our dates.

– Were there any problems due to age?

– At first they said that there were no those who were under 18 years old. Although at that time we were the majority. People leave school mostly at the age of 16-17. All the same, they are so advanced, they enter the first grade from the age of six, and some even at the age of five. As a result, we agreed with the owners as follows: we were allowed to rent a house, only taking into account the fact that one of the adults and the caretaker of the cottage would be with us. They promised that he would not interfere with us, but at the same time he would keep order.

Timofey signed the contract, which clearly indicated the price, the number of people, entry and exit, all kinds of fines and the amount of the deposit. The rent cost the guys 55 thousand rubles a day. The prepayment was 50%, all additional services like a pool and a bath were paid separately. The contract stipulated mandatory cleaning after the holiday and significant restrictions – for example, after 10 pm it was impossible to listen to music on the street. Be sure to wash the dishes after you. The deposit in case of damage to property was 20 thousand rubles.

“The holiday went well, although there were some troubles,” says Timofey. – Upon arrival, it turned out that the promised heated pool on the street did not work and was covered with bleach. Even at first there was no water in one of the toilets on the ground floor.

The graduates did not really like the situation when the manager ordered not to leave the house after 22.00 and locked them inside – he closed the front doors. “But in general, we had a good time, and the manager did not annoy otherwise, he sat in a separate room and, if we needed, answered questions,” the source continues.

The holiday cost Muscovites about 110 thousand rubles – this amount included the cost of rent, food and alcohol, coals for the grill, plastic dishes and all the little things. “They divided it into 25 people in the class, it didn’t turn out so much,” says Timofey.

Were the graduates deceived? After all, for a hundred thousand rubles it is quite possible to buy a used car. And here we are talking about one evening …

Director of the Department of Real Estate of the federal project “Digital SNT” Fedor Mezentsev gave a cost breakdown for an ordinary, adult company.

– At first glance, the high cost of rent per day becomes absolutely acceptable if divided by 10-20 participants of the event. So, for example, at a distance of 20 kilometers from the Moscow Ring Road, a chic cottage bordering on a birch grove with a stylish interior and design, a spacious banquet hall, a sauna and a swimming pool with a total area of ​​​​600 square meters has: on the 1st floor – a large banquet hall with a table for 50 people , plasma TV and musical equipment, a kitchen with all necessary appliances, a sauna and a pool with lighting, heating, a geyser and a countercurrent, a relaxation area with a large table, powerful acoustics and karaoke (the first three hours a day are included in the price, then 1000 rubles per hour ); two bedrooms with double sofas, bathroom, shower, WI-FI in the house and on the plot.

On the 2nd floor, four spacious bedrooms with air conditioning are required, two of them have double beds, and the other two have two single beds, three bathrooms in the bedrooms with bathrooms, one bathroom in the hall with a Jacuzzi.

There should be a well-groomed site, which has a gazebo for 20 people, barbecue with skewers, parking for 10 cars. 10 minutes by car to the river.

And now the main thing is the price.

Cost on weekdays: one day – 30 thousand rubles, two days – 45 thousand rubles. On weekends: a day – 45 thousand rubles, two days – 70 thousand rubles.

“For school graduates, the owner of a cottage can raise the price by 15–20%,” says Fedor Mezentsev.

– Aren’t the owners of houses afraid that schoolchildren will start a fire, ruin repairs – in general, that the cost of rent will cost less than the subsequent elimination of damage? Perhaps insurance agreements are concluded with parents? – Ask an expert.

– When renting a cottage by the day, as a rule, a security deposit in cash is made, amounting to 100% of the rental price, which is returned by the owner after inspecting the house. Elite school students usually celebrate their graduation on a ship, either abroad or with some of their friends: many of these students live with their parents in elite cottages.

“In our thirty years of practice, we have never encountered requests from graduates,” says Maria Zhukova, managing director of the MIEL network. — Yes, and it is difficult to imagine the owner of a cottage who even for 1-2 days will decide to rent his house to the graduating class, in which there are 25-30 people, not counting the teachers and parents who accompany the children.

Rather, we can talk about the allocation of some kind of site on the site, if its area allows. The place can be equipped with a barbecue area, a tent and fenced around the perimeter.

We found a man who rented the estate to eleventh graders a few years ago. “I was so disappointed in people that I sold that house,” Dmitry says. – Their teacher, a physical education teacher, was with the graduates, but he became the main instigator – he forced the children to run for alcohol and cigarettes. In general, schoolchildren lit up this holiday. One girl, as I later found out, became pregnant, but the boy who knocked her up turned out to be a knight and got married. It’s the best thing that happened at that party.”

It is curious that at the request on the Internet “to rent a cottage for graduation” offers are received from holiday homes, estates, and hotels. Or the sites of companies for which the organization of holidays, weddings, graduations is a professional activity fall out. So yesterday’s schoolchildren really have to cheat – like “we are a team of future IT people.” But even this trick does not work as soon as the owners of the cottage see the customers, unless the most desperate are ready to demand a double or even triple rate from the guys.
