Registration of children and adults who would like to take part in the winter esports tournament has started today on the website of the Patriot.Sport Moscow Center. Registration will last until February 10, and the competition itself will be held from February 13 to March 17.
Children from six years of age and older, their parents and teachers can take part in the tournament. Competitions will be held in seven cyberdisciplines, as well as in classic games – chess, checkers and giveaway (reverse checkers).
According to the organizers of the tournament, in computer games, their participants need no less concentration and concentration than in a game of chess and checkers. In addition, computer games develop attention, speed of reaction and assimilation of information, teamwork skills.
According to the director of the Patriot.Sport Moscow Center, Marat Kuchushev, eSports competitions are very popular among the residents of the capital.
“It is very important that children, parents and teachers can create a team on it, and this unites children and adults, helps representatives of different generations to better interact with each other,” the director of the center specified.

The first Big City Tournament competition took place in September 2021. For a year and a half, over 50,000 Muscovites took part in the competitions, and more than two million people watched the online broadcasts of the matches.
