The authorities of the Sverdlovsk region will allocate 95 million rubles to the residents of the village of Sosva, where a fire destroyed the houses of more than 600 people. The money will be allocated from the reserve fund, the information policy department of the region reported.
“To make various payments due to residents, the governor decided to allocate about 95 million rubles from the reserve fund of the government of the Sverdlovsk region,” the department said in a statement (quoted by TASS).
The governor of the region, Yevgeny Kuyvashev, instructed to build a house for 60 apartments for the residents of the burned-out village, as well as individual modular residential buildings. The victims will receive temporary housing, clothing and food.
At the moment, the fire in the village of Sosva is localized on an area of 9 thousand square meters. m. Two people died in the fire. The fire destroyed the building of the medical correctional institution of the regional Federal Penitentiary Service. About 250 convicts had to be evacuated. The fire started due to the ignition of dry grass, which occurred just next to the building of the Federal Penitentiary Service.
The fire was extinguished by 120 people and 33 pieces of equipment, including two fire trains, as well as aviation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and the National Guard. Today in Sosva arrived Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia Alexander Kurenkov.
