Mexican driver of Red Bull Sergio Perez became the winner of the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The second place was taken by another Red Bull driver, the Dutchman Max Verstappen, and the third place was taken by the Monegasque Charles Leclerc representing Ferrari. The race was held in Baku.
This is Perez’s sixth Formula 1 Grand Prix victory in his career. In 2021, he has already won in Azerbaijan. Perez has also won Grand Prix in Bahrain (2020), Monaco (2022), Singapore (2022) and Saudi Arabia (2023).
Now in the overall standings of “Formula 1” Verstappen, who scored 93 points, is still in the lead. Perez is in second place with 87 points. In third place is Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso with 60 points. The next stage of the race will take place from 5 to 7 May in the USA.
