Lawyer Soloviev: Kirkorov may be deprived of the title of People’s Artist for obscene behavior
Honored Lawyer of the Russian Federation Ivan Solovyov said that this could become the basis for depriving Philip Kirkorov of the title of People’s Artist. Activists previously made such a proposal to the Ministry of Culture because of the singer’s participation in the scandalous “naked” party of Anastasia Ivleeva.
According to the expert, violation of professional ethics and moral standards, as well as indecent behavior, may become a legal basis for depriving the king of pop of the Russian stage of his honorary title.
The title “People’s Artist of Russia” is awarded not because a certain person sings well, but because his personality and creativity resonate in the souls of people, Soloviev noted.
He added that there is a clear legal procedure for stripping this title. And the reason for this is a violation of professional ethics and moral standards.
