He apologized “for the whole country”

A few days before the start of the Russian special operation on the territory of Ukraine, rapper Alexei Potapenko, known as Potap, left the country with his wife Nastya Kamensky for Spain. He received a barrage of criticism from his fans for not being in Ukraine, although Kamensky reported that he could not return due to illness. At the same time, with the help of his father, Potap managed to join the Kyiv Terodefense.

On the air of Ukrainian television, Potap admitted that he was thinking about returning to Ukraine and decided to ask his father, Andriy Potapenko, to enroll him in the Kyiv Terodefense. The rapper explained this by the fact that his father dissuaded him from going to the front.

The performer himself specified that he was eager for the front line. One way or another, according to Potap, he “in absentia” signed up for the defense, deciding to continue doing what he knows how, namely to convey information about Ukraine.

In addition, the rapper shared that even at the beginning of the special operation, showman Ivan Urgant called him, who, sobbing, apologized to him “for the whole country.” Potap emphasized that he was one of those people who suffered so much that they apologized in this way.
