Refugees from Ukraine complained about the eviction from the hotel in Dublin, where they lived since May, on the air of the Irish RTE Radio 1.

They said that they had been living in a hotel located in the Dublin suburb of Klondalink for several months.

Last week, Ukrainian refugees received notices that they would soon be resettled in a new location. At the same time, the authorities did not indicate exactly where the resettlement will take place after November 28.

This decision shocked the Ukrainians, because they want to stay in the same place.

“We were devastated and dejected by this decision. At the moment, half of the refugees living in this hotel have already taken a job in the area. In the event that we are resettled, they will lose her,” added the Ukrainian.

According to the representatives of the local Department of Integration Affairs, now “due to the unprecedented demand for housing, the authorities need to organize relocations where necessary.”
