Lukashenka will arrive in Russia on a working visit. “The discussion of topical issues of the further development of Russian-Belarusian relations of strategic partnership and alliance, as well as integration cooperation within the framework of the Union State, will be continued,” the Kremlin said in a statement.
Putin and Lukashenko met June 9 in an informal setting at the Bocharov Ruchey residence in Sochi. Prior to this, the leaders of the two countries held a meeting in the Kremlin on April 5. In the open part of the event, Putin noted the successful work of the countries in various areas, including in the area of security and the economy. Lukashenka, in turn, spoke about the implementation of 28 union programs by almost 80%.
On May 25, Lukashenka came to Moscow to attend a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, which was held at the Grand Kremlin Palace.
