The Ministry of Defense announced a new missile attack on targets in Ukraine

Russian military personnel delivered a new blow to objects on the territory of Ukraine, where terrorist attacks against Russia were being prepared using drones. About it reported in the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

“Tonight, the Russian Armed Forces delivered another strike with sea-based long-range high-precision weapons at facilities where terrorist acts against the Russian Federation were being prepared using attack unmanned aerial vehicles. The target has been reached. All assigned objects were hit,” the daily report on the course of the special operation says.

The Ministry of Defense also reported on the ongoing attempts of the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donetsk, Krasnolimansk and YuzhnoDonetsk directions. In particular, Russian servicemen repelled nine attacks in the Donetsk direction and three in the Krasnoliman direction in a day. In addition, two ammunition depots of the 38th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 118th Territorial Defense Brigade were destroyed in the Donetsk direction. The activities of two groups of saboteurs were suppressed in the Krasnolimansky and Yuzhnodonets directions.

In the Zaporozhye direction, the Russian Armed Forces repulsed the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and destroyed two ammunition depots. One warehouse was also destroyed in the Kherson and Kupyansk directions.

On July 20, the Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian army inflicted new “retaliatory strikes” on objects near Odessa and Ilyichevsk after the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, as a result of which a married couple died and an underage girl was injured. It is specified that the strikes were inflicted on the production workshops and storage places for unmanned boats in the Odessa region. The Armed Forces (AF) of Russia also destroyed a fuel infrastructure facility, as well as ammunition depots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Nikolaev area.

The Crimean bridge was attacked on the night of July 17 by Ukrainian surface drones. As a result of the incident, a married couple died, their minor daughter was injured. The Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia opened a case on the fact of the attack about a terrorist attack, which, according to the department, was being prepared on the instructions of the Ukrainian special services.

Russian President Vladimir Putin promised to respond to the attack. On July 18, the Ministry of Defense reported about a “retaliation strike” against facilities where preparations were made for terrorist attacks on Russian territory with the help of unmanned boats, as well as at the places where they were manufactured in the Odessa region.
