Putin: We share the pain of mothers who lost their sons in a special operation

Russian President Vladimir Putin is holding a meeting today with the mothers of the participants in the special operation – mobilized, contract soldiers, volunteers and military personnel.
Opening the event, he noted that Mother’s Day was decorated with very good content. “For you, whose sons are in the war zone, this day is about what happens to your boys.”
Putin stressed that he personally shares the pain of mothers who lost their sons in the fighting.
“I personally and the entire leadership of the country share this pain. Nothing can replace the loss of a son, the loss of a child, especially for a mother,” the head of state said.
