“Today, an exchange is taking place with Ukraine according to the 9 for 9 formula. Among the released Russian fighters is one from the Donetsk People’s Republic,” he wrote.

The day before, November 24, the Russian side also spent exchange of prisoners of war with Ukraine. So, Pushilin said that 50 Russian soldiers returned home from Ukrainian captivity. Russia transferred the same number of Ukrainian servicemen to Kyiv. Information confirmed in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. They noted that the Russians who returned from captivity would be taken to Moscow for treatment and rehabilitation in medical institutions of the defense department.

In addition, the exchange according to the formula “35 for 35” was carried out by the parties on November 23. Returned home, including four servicemen from the DPR and two more from the Luhansk People’s Republic, informed Pushilin. Ukraine, according to him, is mainly transferred as part of the exchange of military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Before that, one more exchange according to the formula “35 for 35” took place 10th of November. Acting head of the LPR Leonid Pasechnik said that 35 servicemen of the republic returned from Ukrainian captivity.
