Expert Perendzhiev called the difficulties in the conduct of hostilities in the winter

In winter, the military faces a number of features in the conduct of hostilities. Military political scientist Alexander Perendzhiev spoke about this.

“There are many difficulties in conducting military operations in winter. For example, additional means for heating, shelter are required. It is necessary to disguise equipment, weapons," he explained.

The expert added that there are also positive aspects - there is no slush in winter, it is easier to overcome water lines if the reservoirs are well frozen.

At the same time, it can be more difficult to start equipment in winter. We also have to change the tactics of movement, because it is difficult to disguise.

Perendjiev noted that it can be especially difficult for foreign military personnel who are accustomed to warmer climates, such as the Middle East or the United States.
