Russian President Vladimir Putin heard reports by telephone from the head of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo and the governor of the Moscow region Andrei Vorobyov on interruptions in electricity and heat supply.

The President instructed the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Alexander Kurenkov, and the Rosseti company to take the necessary steps to normalize the situation in these regions.

The cause of the emergency in the Kherson region was sudden temperature changes, which led to disruptions in power supply and breakage of electrical wires. Work to eliminate the consequences of the accident is already underway, but temporary interruptions in mobile communications and the Internet are possible. According to the statement of the head of the Kherson region, some consumers will receive power before the end of the current day, and a complete restoration of power supply to the region is planned for Tuesday.

The governor of the Moscow region previously reported heating problems due to an accident at a private boiler house in Klimovsk. Currently, law enforcement agencies are investigating the circumstances of the incident. About 170 houses were left without heating. School classes for Klimovsk students are conducted remotely.
