“If further attacks on our adjacent territories continue, we will consider the possibility of creating a cordon sanitaire on Ukrainian territory,” he said, answering a moderator’s question.

Putin noted that the attacks by Ukrainian drones on the Kremlin, on the Belgorod region and other Russian regions are an attempt by Kyiv to provoke Moscow into “reciprocal serious powerful actions.” The President of the Russian Federation stated that there are no technical restrictions for the Russian army to “destroy any building or structure in the center of Kyiv”, but Russia does not do this “for a number of reasons.”
