Putin: Volunteers who went to Donbas deserve the highest awards

Volunteer assistance to the families of soldiers participating in a special military operation is in great demand. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin during the awards ceremony for volunteers at the WeTogether forum.
The head of state noted that many volunteers even left for the special operation zone at the call of their hearts and helped people there, risking their lives and health.
“The whole country should know the names of such people, and of course, they deserve the highest awards,” Putin stressed during his speech.
He also noted that such actions on the part of volunteers help to preserve the “national identity” of Russia.
