Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the Ustyansky timber complex during his working trip to the Arkhangelsk region. This is reported on website Kremlin.
Vladimir Putin toured a sawmill and a forest selection and seed center. The head of state also got acquainted with the information about the ULC group. At the end of the tour, Mr. Putin was also shown samples of the plant’s finished products.
Ustyansk timber processing plant was built in 2011. This is one of the six forest reproduction centers in Russia.
Vladimir Putin also visited the seed center. He was accompanied by the Governor of the Arkhangelsk Region Alexander Tsybulsky. Later today, on February 10, the head of state will hold a meeting on the development of the timber industry.
