Putin: the whole country is worried about the death of the Samara military in Makeyevka

President Vladimir Putin met with the head of the Samara region Dmitry Azarov. In his report to the president, the governor mentioned the natives of the Samara region who died during the strike in Makeevka, the victim of which become 89 military. According to the president, “the whole country is going through” because of the mass death of the military.
In a report to the president, Dmitry Azarov said that the death of the Samara military was “a heavy blow and a test for the entire region.” “The whole country is worried,” Mr. Putin replied.
The exact number of soldiers killed in the Samara region during the strike in Makeevka is unknown. The lists of injured fighters from the Samara region were never published. After the tragedy in the region arrived two sides with the wounded, that is, both minimum 60–70 fighters.
In connection with the death of the military in the region passed mourning meetings: in Samara, Togliatti, Syzran and Novokuibyshevsk. On one of them on January 10, police detained four women.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the building of a local school in the city of Makeevka in the DPR, where a Russian military unit was located, with HIMARS missiles on New Year’s Eve. The Ministry of Defense called the use of mobile phones by the military the cause of the incident. The department promised to bring to justice those responsible for the death of Russian soldiers.
