Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday, September 21, holds a meeting of the State Council Presidium, which is dedicated to the development of the Russian labor market. During the event, the topic of social payments to various categories of citizens of the Russian Federation was touched upon.
The head of state said that starting from 2024, a rule will come into force according to which if the mother of a small child goes to work before he is one and a half years old, the family will continue to receive benefits.
At the same time, benefits for caring for disabled children will remain if the parents and guardians who provide such care are part-time, Putin noted.
The Russian leader also recalled that the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation continues to support veterans of a special military operation, including in advanced training, mastering a new profession, finding employment, and organizing their own business.
Earlier it was reported that a bill to extend the period for payment of child care benefits to three years was prepared for submission to the State Duma and awaiting government approval.
Benefits and support measures are also being expanded for combat veterans. The government decided to provide them with appropriate certificates without a declaration — you will no longer need to contact departments with a package of documents.
