Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on a single allowance for citizens with children and pregnant women. Document published on the official website of the Internet portal of legal information.
The law replaces the monthly allowance for women who are registered with a medical organization in the early stages of pregnancy with a “monthly allowance in connection with the birth and upbringing of a child.”
Pregnant women who need social support, as well as persons who have children under the age of 17, will be able to receive such benefits, but on condition that they are citizens of Russia and permanently reside in the territory of the Russian Federation.
At the same time, it is noted that if there are several children in the family, whose age is up to 17 years, then the allowance is paid for each child.
The law will come into force on January 1 next year.
