Russian President Vladimir Putin recommended that regional heads provide subsidies in the amount of at least 100 thousand rubles to participants in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine and their families living in gasified settlements. for home ownership for the purchase of gas equipment and connection to gas distribution networks, if necessary. It is also recommended to provide appropriate subsidies to group I disabled people and persons caring for disabled children.

The President gave instructions to expand the list of recipients of subsidies within the framework of the social gasification program on October 11 following the plenary meeting of the international forum “Russian Energy Week”, reported on website Kremlin. A report on the implementation of the order must be submitted to the governors by January 15, 2024, and then once a year, the document says.

The social gasification program was to be completed by the end of 2022. In October last year, Vladimir Putin, in his message to the Federal Assembly, announced the extension of the program and the expansion of the list of its participants. The program allows free gas supply to the borders of citizens’ land plots. This right can be exercised by owners of lands located within the boundaries of gasified settlements.
