Putin posthumously awarded DPR deputy Maria Pirogova with the Order of Courage

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed decree on the posthumous awarding of the Order of Courage to the deputy of the People’s Council of the Donetsk People’s Republic Maria Pirogova.
Maria Pirogova visited the cities of Donbass with humanitarian missions. She organized creative workshops as part of the Children of the Republic program and ran a channel about helping people affected by the conflict.
She is perished during yesterday’s shelling of Donetsk. Acting head of the DPR Denis Pushilin confirmed the death of four people as a result of shelling on December 6. Another 19 civilians were injured of varying severity.
