Since Wednesday, December 7, all schoolchildren in Smolensk have gone into a seven-day quarantine due to an increase in the number of cases of SARS and influenza.
According to the head of the general education department of the education department Olga Simonova, the epidemiological threshold for SARS and influenza among Smolensk children aged 7 to 14 years has been exceeded by 281 percent.
She noted that students from all 43 schools in the city went into quarantine for ARVI for seven calendar days, which is more than 37 thousand students.
The corresponding decision was made on the recommendation of the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor.
