Putin instructed to reduce the number of objects not included in the USRN

President Vladimir Putin instructed to take measures to reduce the number of objects not registered in the Unified State Register of Real Estate (EGRN). Order given within the framework of the state program “National System of Spatial Data”.
Among other things, the government will legislative changes aimed at reducing:
- the number of land plots, the boundaries of which are not defined in accordance with the requirements established by law;
- the number of buildings, structures, premises and parking spaces actually used by individuals and legal entities, the rights to which are not registered in the USRN.
The deadline for the execution of the order is January 1, 2024.
In mid-2021, the authorities comprehensively addressed the problem of the lack of reliable data on land and real estate in the Russian Federation. Then Rosreestr promised to create a digital multi-scale map of Russia, which could provide the state and business with data on construction sites. At the end of 2021, it was reported that Rosreestr will continue real estate experiment.
