Putin instructed to promote Russian video games abroad

Head of State Vladimir Putin ordered to prepare a proposal to promote domestic video games to foreign markets, in particular to the BRICS (Russia, India, Brazil, China, South Africa). The President gave the corresponding instruction after visiting the exhibition “Development of the Creative Economy in the Russian Federation”.
“… to submit proposals for the promotion of domestic video games and Russian software used in them to foreign markets, including the BRICS countries,” the list of instructions, which is published on the Kremlin’s website, says.
The initiative will be taken up by the Government of the Russian Federation, JSC “Russian Export Center” and ANO “Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects”.
Deadline is September 30 this year.
