Russian President Vladimir Putin called on the government to develop a plan for the development of nature-like technologies in the country. In accordance with the decree, the government needs to create scientific infrastructure, train personnel and conduct research in this area. Nature-like technologies are based on the study of samples in living nature and their replication in the form of technical solutions and processes.
In addition, the government will have to determine the criteria for classifying technologies as nature-like, as well as assess the prospects and priorities for their development and sources of financing. The National Research Center “Kurchatov Institute” will be responsible for the scientific management of the implementation of the plan.
Earlier, Vladimir Putin noted that artificial intelligence technologies are no less important than nuclear or missile projects in the past, and the future of the country depends on their development.
