Putin formed the Presidium of the Collegium of the Military-Industrial Commission

Russian President Vladimir Putin decided to form a presidium of a colleague of the Military Industrial Commission. Relevant Document published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

“In order to improve the activities of the Military-Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation, I decide: 1. to form the Presidium of the Collegium of the Military-Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation,” the decree says.

It follows from the document that it is entrusted with the authority to make operational decisions “aimed at ensuring the implementation of the tasks and functions assigned to the colleague of the Military Industrial Commission.” It is indicated that meetings of the Presidium of the Colleague of the Military Industrial Commission can be held on behalf of the President, the Prime Minister and, in some cases, on behalf of the Chairman of the Board of the Military Industrial Commission.

The decree also states that the plenipotentiary representatives (plenipotentiary representative) of the head of state in the federal districts were instructed to ensure coordination of the activities of state bodies of various levels “to solve problems related to the implementation of investment projects to ensure the production of weapons, military, special equipment, clothing and equipment, the provision of assistance to organizations of the military-industrial complex in attracting labor resources and increasing the level of social guarantees for employees of such organizations. To solve these problems, they need to form working groups. Presidential plenipotentiaries in various federal districts are included in the commission.

In April, Deputy Prime Minister – Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov informedthat the Russian enterprises of the military-industrial complex (DIC) have used all possible resources to fulfill the multiply increased state defense order. The main contractors, as well as civilian enterprises involved in the tasks of the defense industry, were able to expand their capacities and form reserves of raw materials, materials and components, Manturov noted. According to him, the output of priority products was increased simultaneously with its improvement based on the experience of the special operation.

Putin named the work of the defense industry as one of the factors of victory in a special military operation, communicating on January 18 with the workers of the Obukhov plant in St. Petersburg (North-Western branch of the Almaz-Antey aerospace defense concern).
