The head of Roscosmos Borisov announced the final stage of preparation of a new mission to the ISS
Preparations for a new mission on the International Space Station (ISS) are in the final stages. The head of Roscosmos, Yuri Borisov, announced this on Monday, March 11, at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin.
Answering a corresponding question, Borisov said that all comprehensive tests for crew training are currently being completed.
The crew on the ISS consists of three people, among them, said the head of Roscosmos, two women – cosmonaut from Belarus Marina Vasilevskaya and American astronaut as part of cross-flights Tracy Dyson. The commander of the ship was Oleg Novitsky.
“We expect that on March 21 the Soyuz-25 spacecraft will deliver them to the ISS, and we will be waiting for them on Earth on April 2,” said Yuri Borisov.
Let us remind you that March 5 American reusable spacecraft Crew Dragon successfully docked to the International Space Station. On board were three astronauts and Russian cosmonaut Alexander Grebenkin.
