Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to submit to him a report on procurement measures for state employees of Russian highly localized vehicles.

The report must be submitted by February 1, 2024.
The head of state previously supported the transition from foreign cars to domestically produced cars. State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said that the heads of all parliamentary factions support the president’s decision. Now, according to him, the deputies will use Moskvich, Lada, Aurus cars, and soon the production of Volga cars will begin, which officials will also drive.
Altai officials are already gradually switching to domestically produced cars, the regional government said. Bought there 28 Russian-made carsincluding some Lada and UAZ models.
