In Russia, a situation often arises in which no matter what event is started, it still becomes overgrown with bureaucracy. This statement was made on Tuesday, December 5, by Russian President Vladimir Putin, discussing new initiatives at a meeting of the supervisory board of the First Movement.
In this regard, the head of state recalled an anecdote in which “no matter what you start, no matter what you do, in the end we end up with a Kalashnikov assault rifle.”
In response, representatives of the First Movement assured the head of state that they would not become bureaucrats.
The Russian leader has repeatedly appealed to state and municipal employees with the demand to avoid red tape and bureaucracy. This has acquired particular significance in light of increased external pressure and Western sanctions policy.
Putin emphasized that it is important to strengthen the positive trends in the Russian economy, as well as “increase its efficiency, ensure technological, personnel and financial sovereignty,” and to do this “quickly, without unnecessary bureaucracy and delays”.
