President Vladimir Putin noted during a meeting on seasonal agricultural work that the export of grain from Ukraine, ostensibly to solve the problems of the poorest countries, has turned into “a complete swindle.”

“Grain from Ukraine continues to leave the poorest countries. We talk about it, we talk – it’s all in vain, no one just hears,” Putin said and said that by September 23, out of 203 ships that left the ports of Ukraine, only four had gone to the countries with a catastrophic food situation.

The President also stressed that the countries of the European Union became the final destinations for the exported food, that is, there can be no talk of implementing the UN program to combat hunger.

“The situation here is not changing. It’s solid, it’s just inconvenient to say, but it’s a complete swindle,” Vladimir Putin stressed.
