Putin called for maintenance of Sukhoi Superjet aircraft

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, during a meeting with the General Director of Aeroflot, Sergei Aleksandrovsky, announced that it was necessary to arrange maintenance of the Sukhoi Superjet aircraft.
“It is necessary to arrange maintenance, spare parts, so that all this is possible,” the head of the Russian state said.
In turn, Aleksandrovsky stressed that this is a key issue. He noted that the aircraft must not only be produced, but also made so that it is effectively operated by the company, and also performs high-quality flights.
Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) is a Russian short-haul passenger airliner designed to carry 87 to 108 passengers over a distance of 3,050 or 4,600 kilometers. The aircraft is the first passenger aircraft developed in Russia after the collapse of the USSR.
