Russian President Vladimir Putin on the Day of Russian Science at a solemn ceremony in the Kremlin awards young scientists with awards in the field of science and innovation for the past year.
It is noted that five people became the laureates of the award, who were noted for research in the field of oil production, oceanology, chemical analysis, as well as for the development of a system for testing complex technical devices.
Thus, among the winners of the award are Irek Mukhamatdinov, a senior researcher at Kazan Federal University, who developed catalysts for reducing the viscosity of oil before its production, as well as Alexander Osadchiev, a leading researcher at the Institute of Oceanology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, who was noted for studying the mechanisms of desalination of three northern seas, namely the Kara, Laptev and East Siberian.
In addition, young specialists from St Petersburg University Irina Timofeeva and Andrey Shishov will receive an award from the President for creating a method for fast and accurate analysis with extraction, and Ivan Frisenko, an employee of the Central Research Institute of the Russian Defense Ministry, who was awarded for creating a system for testing complex technical devices that strengthen Russia’s defense capability.
