Putin awarded Orders of Courage to Prilepin and his colleague who died in the terrorist attack

Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the Order of Courage to the writer and ex-deputy Zakhar Prilepin, whose car was blown up in early May in the Nizhny Novgorod region. His colleague Alexander Shubin, who died in the explosion, was awarded the order posthumously.
Mr. Prilepin’s Audi Q7 was blown up on May 6 in the village of Pionerskoye in the Nizhny Novgorod region around 11:00. He came there to visit relatives after returning from Donbass, where he served in one of the battalions. As a result of the explosion, an associate of the writer Alexander Shubin died.
The Investigative Committee of Russia qualified the incident as a terrorist attack. Accused of blowing up a car Alexander Permyakov declaredthat acted on the instructions of the Ukrainian special services.
As follows from the decree of the head of state, President of the Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik was awarded the Order of Alexander Nevsky. On May 23, Mr. Putin during a meeting in Moscow with Mr. Dodik thanked him for a neutral position and restraint on the situation in Ukraine.
