Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a meeting with Russian Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev, pointed out the importance of developing social infrastructure in rural areas, including the construction of housing, schools, cultural centers and healthcare facilities.

“Of course, we must not forget about the social system in the countryside. Housing, cultural centers, schools, healthcare,” Putin noted during a meeting on Tuesday evening in the Kremlin.

In response, the minister confirmed that these issues will be carefully considered and included in state programs for the integrated development of rural areas.
