Artificial intelligence will be used in electoral processes in Russia, but no AI today can replace a sincere attitude towards people. This statement was made on Wednesday, November 15, by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
During a meeting with members of the Central Election Commission, heads and election commissions of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, Putin spoke “about technology and working with people.”
The Russian leader recalled a statement by one of the meeting participants about a sincere attitude towards people and the introduction of modern technologies in electoral processes. Putin thanked the election commission employees for their work, emphasizing that “it is still difficult to replace this component of a sincere, professional attitude to work with technology.”
Earlier it became known that 53% of Russians who took part in the study towards the FINOPOLIS forum of innovative financial technologies have a positive attitude to the use of artificial intelligence in the financial industry. Russians named servicing ATMs, assistance with product applications and document flow, as well as investment consulting as the most suitable tasks for AI.
Candidate of Economic Sciences, co-founder of the ITGLOBAL.COM group of companies Alexander Starodubtsev noted that robotics and artificial intelligence are widely used in the field of national security and defense, which can help strengthen Russia’s military potential.
