Vladimir Putin said that within the framework of the new national project “Long and Active Life”, in the next six years, more than 1 trillion rubles will be allocated additionally for the construction, repair and equipment of healthcare facilities. It is planned to build 350 sports complexes annually. Until 2030, 65 billion rubles will be allocated for this. Also, a major renovation program for kindergartens will begin next year.
“Now the average life expectancy in Russia has exceeded 73 years. We are back to the level we were before the coronavirus pandemic. By 2030, life expectancy in Russia should be at least 78 years, and in the future, as we planned, it will reach the level of 80+. Particular attention should be paid to rural areas, regions where life expectancy is lower than the Russian average. The national project “Long and Active Life” will be aimed at solving these problems,” Mr. Putin said in his message to the Federal Assembly.
The President proposed launching a new comprehensive program for maternal health, preserving the health of children and adolescents, and reproductive health. The priority of the program will be the expansion of the network of antenatal clinics, the modernization of perinatal centers, children’s clinics and hospitals.
From 2025, in Russia, as Mr. Putin said, tax deductions will be provided to those who regularly, on a planned basis, undergo medical examinations, and also successfully pass the GTO standards. The President proposed to annually build at least 350 additional sports facilities in the regions, primarily in small towns and rural areas, at the expense of the federal budget.
