A scandal at the Miss Europe 2024 contest was caused by participants from Ukraine, Belarus and Russia.
The event, which was won by the representative of the Russian Federation, Roza Gadieva from Tatarstan, was held in Lebanon from February 15 to 25. This fact greatly upset the Ukrainian participant Milena Melnichuk.
The girl recorded many videos during the competition accusing the Russian woman and the organizers of the competition of provocations. Thus, the Ukrainian woman claimed that she was forced to take pictures with Gadieva, threatened and even given similar dresses. And Rosa’s victory was allegedly bought.
When all the contestants were leaving the awards ceremony, the nerves of a participant from Belarus, Irina Maksimovich, who took third place, gave way. She told Melnichuk on the bus everything she thought about her behavior.
Later, Melnichuk published a post in which she said that the first and third places were allegedly bought by representatives of Russia and Belarus. At the same time, Milena herself did not receive any prizes at the competition.
