“At the same time, the amount of benefits for pregnant women will be increased and will amount to from half to one subsistence minimum in the region of residence,” the president said. Unified monthly allowances will also be launched for needy families with children from birth to 17 years old.
“By the end of next year, all children under 3 years of age will be provided with places in a nursery. Let me remind you that in 2018, at the start of the project, the provision was 78%, from 2019 to 2024, at least 1,300 schools will be built, more than 1 million student places will be introduced,” Vladimir Putin also announced.
At the end of November, President signed a law on a single allowance for pregnant women and families with children under 17 whose income is below one regional subsistence minimum per person. The unified conditions for the payment of child benefits will come into force on January 1, 2023.
