Presidents of Russia and Belarus Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko visited Kronstadt, where they toured the Museum of Naval Glory and talked to people on the square near the St. Nicholas Naval Cathedral. About it informed Kremlin press office.

Lukashenka arrived in Russia on July 23 for talks with his Russian colleague, the meeting took place at the Konstantinovsky Palace in Strelna. Then, according to the Kremlin, the presidents went to Kronstadt. They were accompanied to the museum by the governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov and the head of the project office of the Island of Forts cluster Ksenia Shoigu. During a trip to Kronstadt, Putin photographed with all comers, RT channel reported.

The Museum of Naval Glory with a congress and exhibition center was built on the basis of restored artillery arsenals from the First World War, the Kremlin said. The opening of the exhibition space is scheduled for July 30, when Russia will celebrate Navy Day.

Earlier today during the talks, Putin told about the failure of Kyiv’s counter-offensive and discussed with Lukashenka the losses of Ukrainian troops during the hostilities.
