Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed to build a high-speed railway line (HSR) from Moscow to Adler and new regions of the Russian Federation. He put forward this idea during the launch of MCD-3 with Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
“Without any doubt, we will have to develop this system further. If we drag it from Moscow to Adler, it will be only ten hours on the way,” the head of state said.
Putin also called for thinking about including Donetsk and Luhansk in this list. In addition, the president announced that he would talk with his Belarusian counterpart about creating a high-speed rail line between the Russian capital and Minsk.
