Pushilin: DPR government formally resigns after Khotsenko’s appointment

After the appointment of the already former chairman of the government of the DPR Vitaly Khotsenko, the acting governor of the Omsk region, the government of the republic formally resigns, but it will perform its duties until a new composition is formed, said the acting head of the DPR Denis Pushilin.
“After the president appointed Vitaly Khotsenko to the Omsk region and, accordingly, Vitaly Pavlovich was relieved of the post of chairman of the government of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the government formally resigns. But it will perform its duties until the formation of a new composition. In fact, everyone continues to work in their places. The current composition of the government is strong, it copes with the tasks,” wrote Pushilin in the Telegram channel.
Pushilin proposed the candidacy of First Deputy Prime Minister Yevgeny Solntsev for the post of chairman of the government of the republic. “He [Солнцев] is responsible in the government for restoration, construction – and this block showed high performance, ”wrote the acting head of the DPR.
A day earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin accepted the resignation of Omsk Region Governor Alexander Burkov. Acting head of the region by presidential decree was appointed Vitaly Khotsenko.
