Medvedev accused the West of keeping silent about its involvement in the genocide

Deputy Chairman of the Security Council accused Western countries of hushing up the facts of their involvement in the genocide

Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev said that the West is hushing up and erasing from the collective memory the facts of its involvement in genocide, the slave trade, and other crimes. According to the politician, in this way the West is trying to falsify history, and it does it on an ongoing basis.

“It is impossible (…) to hush up the facts of ethnic cleansing, genocide, (…) racism, the destruction of the cultural heritage of entire states,” said the ex-president of Russia.

During the first meeting of the organizing committee of the “Forum of supporters of the fight against modern practices of neo-colonialism”, the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation also pointed out that despite the fact that the colonial system collapsed, its dangerous legacy is still alive.
